Twist restaurant decided to go out of business Tuesday night rather than face a possible suspension of its liquor license.

The restaurant was in violation of it's conditional permit for selling more alcohol than food.

That decision left some of its loyal customers upset because they had unused gift cards.

April Lee, /*Twist*/ gift card holder said, "It'd be nice to get the money back, maybe I can use it somewhere else. I'm sure they're probably not going to give people their money back given they just closed without notice."

The Better Business Bureau tells Action News -- those stuck with the unused cards are simply out of luck. But owners of Twist say they will take steps to ensure their customers aren't forgotten.
