Wednesday morning, the doors were opened at 6:00 a.m. at the newest GB3 fitness location in Northwest Fresno.
The location is one of the largest facilities with nearly 45-thousand square feet of workout space.
The gym has more than 11-hundred pieces of equipment. It also features a swimming pool, aerobics room and an upper balcony workout space.
General Manager Sean Clinton said, "There was such a big, big demand for it on this side of town. Especially with the population really increasing on the other side of the 99, the surrounding cities like Madera, Firebaugh, Kerman, all these places that are close to the 99. It's going to service so many people."
Even better news, starting in mid to late January, the northwest location will be open 24 hours a day.
The northwest location is now the fifth GB3 gym in Fresno County.
