Man shot in east central Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating after they say a man was shot in east central Fresno Friday night.

Authorities say it happened near Mckenzie and Jackson.

Officers say that the victim was conscious when they arrived on scene.

He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where his condition is unknown at this time.

Investigators are working to figure out what led up to shots being fired.
