The agency is specifically monitoring the area of Mattie Fhy Road between Oakhurst and Coarsegold.

With heavy rain expected in the Central Valley through the weekend, Fresno City workers were busy clearing leaves by the truckload.

Some showers begin across Central California, heavier in Foothills

Some parts of Central California are already dealing with showers Thursday morning.

Rain chances are expected to be at their highest Thursday afternoon, between 1 and 5 pm.
