The Kings County Fire Department said the fire consumed a collection of buildings that include private residences, a shop and corral fencing.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In the South Valley, an overnight fire destroyed several buildings at Westlake Farms near Stratford.

The blaze started around 2:15 a.m. off of Highway 41 and Newton. The Kings County Fire Department said the fire consumed a collection of buildings that include private residences, a shop and corral fencing.

A couple of barns were also damaged but weren't destroyed. Because of the area being so rural firefighters were forced to call a second alarm on the blaze.

No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $66,000.
