FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Action News has uncovered new details in the case of a Fresno firefighter accused of rape.

According to a written sworn statement, a 19-year-old woman is accusing Jeffrey Sanchez of spiking her drink. The two went to Sanchez's home, along with two others, after leaving a bar in Old Town Clovis.

In newly released court documents, the woman said she felt strange after drinking beer that Sanchez handed her. Investigators are testing multiple pieces of evidence, including empty glasses of wine and beer bottles found at his home.

The attorney representing Sanchez told Action News the sex was consensual, and he does not think tests on the drinks will come back spiked.
