City of Clovis set to light Old Town Water Tower in honor of 9/11 victims

CLOVIS, Calif (KFSN) -- In remembrance of 9/11, the city of Clovis plans to light up the Old Town Water Tower in the colors of the American Flag.

The city and Clovis Veterans Memorial District partnered together, looking forward to bringing the community together.

The event will include the national anthem and remarks from Clovis city leaders.

The ceremony begins at 8 p.m. on September 11th at Veterans Park.

The city plans to have the water tower remain the colors of the American flag through the end of the year to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary and victims of 9/11.
