If there has been one constant early in the 2026 MLB season, it's theLos Angeles Dodgers' continued dominance. The two-time reigning World Series champions, who have the best record in the league at 11-4, again shortened week-over-week to win a third consecutive title, moving from +215 to +205 after entering the season at +230.
The New York Yankees maintained their runner-up status on the odds board at +850, but after them, many of the other contenders saw their odds lengthen, including the Seattle Mariners (10-1 to 11-1), Toronto Blue Jays (15-1 to 16-1), New York Mets (15-1 to 17-1) and Chicago Cubs (19-1 to 20-1). The Boston Red Sox continued their incredible odds slide from 16-1 going into the campaign to 28-1.
There were very few improvements in the last week, but the most notable hail from the AL Central. The Cleveland Guardians shortened from 70-1 to 55-1 and the Minnesota Twins went from 150-1 to 100-1 on the backs of 9-7 starts that have them tied for the best record in the American League. In the National League, the Atlanta Braves showed a slight shift from 19-1 to 18-1.
