Fresh Basil Pesto Sauce recipe
Basil Pesto
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh Basil Leaves, rinsed
- 3/4 cup Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Walnuts (or 1/4 cup Pine Nuts)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 Cloves of Garlic
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Tb Pecorino Cheese
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a Food Processor and blend until uniform consistency is reached. Add Olive Oil as needed.
- Store in an air tight container- top with Olive Oil to prevent the air from damaging it.
- Can be frozen for up to 6 months.
