Fresh Basil Pesto Sauce recipe

Basil Pesto



Ingredients


  • 3 cups fresh Basil Leaves, rinsed

  • 3/4 cup Olive oil

  • 1/2 cup Walnuts (or 1/4 cup Pine Nuts)

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 3 Cloves of Garlic

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

  • 2 Tb Pecorino Cheese



Directions


  1. Combine all ingredients in a Food Processor and blend until uniform consistency is reached. Add Olive Oil as needed.

  2. Store in an air tight container- top with Olive Oil to prevent the air from damaging it.

  3. Can be frozen for up to 6 months.



Enjoy!
