Fresno launches pilot program to turn traffic boxes into public art

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- On Wednesday, Mayor Jerry Dyer announced a new Fresno box art pilot program.

The goal is to transform ordinary traffic control boxes into vibrant works of public art.

The displays will be designed by local artists, students, and community members.

The mayor says this creative project represents the next step in the City's ongoing commitment to cleaner, more beautiful neighborhoods, while celebrating Fresno's culture and artistic talent.
