FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local business owner searching for relief from high energy bills is getting the help of a new grant program through the City of Fresno and PG&E.
Carlos Moran, the owner of Moto, a deli located in central Fresno, says the business was looking for ways to cut down on electric bills.

Due to the nature of the business, Moran says whether it's the AC, fridges or oven, appliances are always running.
He adds that in the summer months, the deli's energy bills were skyrocketing.
"I haven't done anything different, and now, I'm paying $1,000 more a month," Moran said.
Looking for ways to cut down on costs, Moran says an employee of his shared the PG&E program with him, and he applied right away.
