Fresno serial burglar gets probation

Michael David Buchanan accepted a plea deal that gives him three years of probation for seven counts of burglary.

Buchanan accepted a plea deal on Friday that gave him three years of probation. He is also not allowed near any of the businesses he burglarized.

In November, Buchanan was caught on camera burglarizing a Pizza Factory and Wassabi restaurant on the same day in Northeast Fresno. At both restaurants, he smashed through a window and grabbed cash from the cash register.
