Fresno State's Bulldog Bound program expanding to local community colleges

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State is expanding its Bulldog Bound program that opens spots at the university for students seeking to transfer from local community colleges.

The following campuses will now offer guaranteed admission for students who meet the upper-division transfer admission requirements to transfer to Fresno State:

  • Clovis Community College

  • Coalinga College

  • College of the Sequoias

  • Fresno City College

  • Lemoore College

  • Madera Community College

  • Merced College

  • Porterville College

  • Reedley College

Bulldog Bound was first introduced in 2023 for high school students.

"We are saying to our community college students, when you belong to the valley, you belong at Fresno State," Fresno State President Dr. Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval said.

Signing up for the program does not mean a student is required to attend Fresno State.

The university says it does provide the most comprehensive and streamlined pathway toward becoming a Bulldog.
