Large sinkhole forcing road closure in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A large sinkhole has forced a road closure in Visalia.

Conyer Street between Feemster and Howard is shut down as crews repair the damage.

Officials say the closure will remain in place until it is fixed.

At this point, it's not clear what caused the roadway to collapse.

Drivers should avoid the area.
