Las Vegas man killed in crash on Interstate 5 in Fresno County identified, CHP says

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The man killed in a deadly crash near Coalinga early Sunday morning has been identified as 49-year-old Steven Robertson of Las Vegas.

The crash happened near Interstate 5 and Highway 33.

Officers say Robertson was driving a Gray Nissan on I-5 when he veered off the road and hit the back of a Toyota Prius stopped on the right shoulder.

The impact caused the Nissan to spin into traffic where it was hit by another vehicle.

Robertson died at the scene.

No one else involved was injured.
