League of Mexican American Women Hosts Fiesta Navideña in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- The League of Mexican American Women hosted its Fiesta Navidena at the Regency Event Center in Clovis.

People enjoyed a champagne brunch while watching mariachi and folklorico performances as well as a fashion show.

This is the organization's yearly fundraiser to help Fresno County students.

Arianna Paz Chávez, executive director of Arte America, volunteered as a model and has been part of this event for more than a decade, ''For me, it's the marker of the start of the holiday season, it's really wonderful to see the community come together and put all this effort for a really important cause, one that means so much to us today and so much to our co-founders.''
