Madera woman arrested for DUI while picking up her children, police say

MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Madera woman has been arrested for DUI after she was found passed out in a car in an elementary school parking lot.

Madera Police say they received reports that 29-year-old Alexis Uribe was unconscious in her car at Nisimoto Elementary.

Officers arrived and learned, she was waiting to pick up her four children.

They say she had a blood alcohol content above the legal limit and was taken into custody.
