Man dies after crashing logging truck in Tulare County, CHP says

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. -- A driver is dead after their Freightliner truck overturned in Tulare County.

The California Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 2 pm Thursday.

Officers responded to Hot Springs Road just east of Old Hot Springs Road.

Investigators say a 28-year-old man from Strathmore was driving a logging truck west on Hot Springs Road when the truck left the roadway and overturned.

The driver died at the scene.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash.
