Man hospitalized following a collision in downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in surgery and is being treated for injuries he sustained when he rode his motorized bike into a car in Downtown Fresno.

Police say a vehicle was heading down G Street and was turning onto California around 5 p.m. on Saturday when a rider on a motorized bike collided with the side of it.

The driver of that vehicle is cooperating with police in the investigation.

The extent of the man's injuries is not yet known.
