Man killed in 3-vehicle crash in Fresno County identified, CHP says

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The man killed after a three-vehicle crash in Fresno County Wednesday morning has been identified as 24-year-old Nathan Lopez of Reedley.

It happened just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday on Zediker and Diunba Avenues that's just south of Parlier.

The California Highway Patrol says a Black Hyundai driven by Lopez was going east on Dinuba when the driver ran a stop sign and collided with a Nissan truck.

A third vehicle waiting at the intersection was also hit.

The CHP says the impact caused the Hyundai to go into an orchard.

Lopez died from his injuries.

It is not known if drugs or alcohol were factors.

The crash remains under investigation.
