Mariposa County deputies searching for attempted homicide suspect

MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office is searching for an attempted homicide suspect.

Deputies say Keith Capron shot someone twice in the head Sunday night.

He was last seen in the area of Schilling Road in Coulterville, driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris.

Deputies say Capron should be considered armed and dangerous.

Capron is originally from Vermont and hasn't been known in the Coulterville area for long.
