National Weather Service confirms fourth tornado hit Terra Bella during Tuesday's storm

Videos show strong winds slamming into beloved meat market in Terra Bella

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The National Weather Service has confirmed that the severe storm that rolled through Terra Bella in Tulare County on Tuesday was a tornado.

The Terra Bella tornado was classified as an EF-0 with its peak wind speed hitting 80 mph.

This makes it the fourth confirmed tornado that hit the Central Valley on April 21.

The other three reported tornadoes were located in areas near Biola, Clovis, and Atwater.

According to the NWS, Tuesday ties the record for the most tornadoes in one day across the NWS Hanford's area of responsibility.
