MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead following a suspected DUI crash in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers said a white Ford sedan was hit at the intersection of Avenue 17 and Daley Road. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Ford ran from the scene after the collision.
Investigators said a GMC Denali allegedly hit the Ford.
The driver of the Denali then lost control while driving north on Daley Road, away from the crash site, causing the vehicle to flip at least twice, officials said.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
DUI is suspected in the crash. CHP says multiple beer cans were found inside the vehicle.
No identities have been released.
