Progress continues of construction of Golden Charter Academy in central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews are making progress on the future site of Golden Charter Academy in central Fresno.

Walls are starting to go up across the street from Roeding Park and the Fresno Chaffee zoo.

The groundbreaking was back in March.

Former NFL player and Edison High alum, Robert Golden is the founder of Golden Charter Academy.

The city said this $26.8 million investment will provide students with transformative learning experiences.

It's set to open in Fall of 2026.
