Proposal to expand bicycle and e-bike access in US national parks

The National Park Service announced a proposed rule that would expand bicycle and e-bike access inside America's national parks.

That includes Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The proposal would eliminate certain review requirements and streamline the process for expanding bicycle and e-bike access across the National Park System.

The expansion plan will be open for a 60-day public review and comment period.

The National Park Service says it will carefully those comments before making any final decisions.
