Samaritan's Purse seeks volunteers to send gifts to children in need this holiday season

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno chapter of Samaritans Purse Ministry is recruiting volunteers to support more than 15 thousand children this holiday season.

Operation Christmas Child sends gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need from around the world with the message of the Gospel.

If you would like to participate in Operation Christmas Child, you can order free materials through SamaritansPurse.org and pack a gift-filled shoebox for a child.

National collection week is November 17 through the 24.
