
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person has been hospitalized following a crash that officials say started a grass fire in Fresno County.
The crash happened on Millerton Road just after 7 am Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol says the car crashed and started a fire on the side of the road.
The driver suffered major injuries with burns and was rushed to the hospital.
A large plume of smoke can be seen in the air.
Drivers in the area should slow down and take caution when going through as the cleanup continues.
