Truck rolls off boat launch ramp into Bass Lake

BASS LAKE, Calif. (KFSN) -- A truck ended up submerged in a lake in Madera County after a mishap at a boat launch ramp.

A picture of the sunken vehicle was shared by Bass Lake Water Sports.

The owner said a man from Chowchilla was launching two jet skis at the ramp when the incident occurred.

As the man stepped out of the truck to help, the owner said the vehicle had been left in neutral, causing it to roll into the water.

No one was injured in the incident and the truck was later towed out of the lake.
