CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Clovis Unified is helping its youngest students cultivate a connection to farming.
Teachers collaborated with the district to develop an interactive space at Buchanan High School for pre-schoolers.
The program gives the little ones a hands-on experience with fruits and vegetables, farm animals and the growth cycle of the foods that kids love to eat.
It also includes visual and performing arts lessons, introducing the youngsters to music and movement.
Field trips for all 44 Clovis Unified preschools are set to begin next week.
