Updated Costco project for northwest Fresno to move forward

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A ruling by the Fresno City Council will allow an updated Costco project to move forward with commission and council hearings.

A revised greenhouse gas analysis has been drawn up for the project.

Costco plans to move from its current location on Shaw to Herndon and Riverside Drive in northwest Fresno.

Mayor Jerry Dyer says the new development will represent a strong investment in Fresno.

The city council will consider the Costco Commercial Center proposal on May 21.
