Woman hospitalized, man arrested following stabbing in Visalia, police say

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A woman has been hospitalized and a man has been arrested following a stabbing in Visalia.

Police responded to a home on Tulare Avenue near Akers Street at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say a man had stabbed a woman inside the home.

The man was found outside and taken into custody without incident.

The woman was rushed to the hospital and her condition has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
