Now that the recreational use of marijuana is legal in the state of California, it is becoming a budding business. So big that some are choosing to enroll in school for it.
It could soon cost a lot more to be a smoker in California under Proposition 56 on next week's ballot. The tax on a pack of cigarettes would jump from 87 cents to $2.87 -- other tobacco products and e-cigarettes are also targeted.
One of the most hotly contested decisions on the ballot next week is Proposition 57. Gov. Jerry Brown is backing the change to criminal punishments and for the most part, law enforcement leaders say it's a terrible idea.
