Rescue workers are helping hundreds of hikers trapped by heavy snow at a tourist camp on Mount Everest in Tibet.
Governor Gavin Newsom announced a state of emergency Wednesday to help California counties ahead of a severe winter storm this week.

State resources have been called in to secure a mobile home park in Madera County that was placed under mandatory evacuation due to heavy snow.
Gov. Newsom has declared a state of emergency for at least 13 counties impacted by the recent severe winter storms.
"These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens . Love and blessings to you all," Renner said on his Instagram.
