VIDEO: Thief steals from driver pumping gas, don't let this be you

BLUE ISLAND, Ill. -- Authorities in Illinois have issued a warning for all drivers about thieves that target people at gas stations.

Surveillance video shows a robbery occurring at a gas station last Friday afternoon. Police say a woman had items stolen from her vehicle as she stood at the pump.

Police advise drivers to lock their vehicles when stepping out to pump gas and to be aware of their surroundings.
