A new machine is making Oreo cookies in a very different way. A 3D printer cranks out whichever flavor is trending on Twitter -- in just two minutes.

The printer is on display at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas.

People can choose from 12 cookie flavors and creme colors to make their custom Oreos, which are completely edible. Afterward, people are welcome to visit the milk bar where they can dunk their creation into several different types and flavors of milk.

Oreo officials say 3D technology could permanently change food production worldwide.
