Clovis PD hosts annual community breakfast

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Members of the community gathered together today to take part in the annual community breakfast honor Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The breakfast was hosted by the Clovis Police Department and the Fresno MLK Unity Committee.

Students in the local community also performed during the breakfast.

Event organizers say the annual event is a way they celebrate diversity in the community while also honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

If you missed the breakfast there will be a couple more events throughout the week to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

One of those events will be the March in Downtown Fresno which will take place on Monday.
