Encouraging news about Sanger woman who was shot during Las Vegas massacre

FRESNO, Calf (KFSN) -- There is encouraging news about Jessica Milam, the Sanger woman who was severely injured in the Las Vegas massacre.

Milam's dad told Action News her health has started to stabilize. She underwent several hours of surgery yesterday to remove shrapnel from her lungs. As a result, her father said the numbers in her blood work are now good.

Doctors are taking Milam off some of the medication and waiting to see how she responds.
