Fresno Grizzlies to wear Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jerseys
The Fresno Grizzlies are getting ready for a big game on Saturday and they're already getting national attention.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's not really about the matchup, it's about the theme -- because the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are taking over the ballpark!

The Fresno Grizzlies will take to the field in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jerseys on Saturday. They will have turtle power with them throughout the game and they're hoping fans will help join in on this fun night.

Thanks to Nickelodeon, costumed ninja turtles characters will be appearing prior to and throughout the game. Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael all will toss out a ceremonial first pitch, take part in the on-field entertainment, and pose for pictures on the first base concourse. Joining the costumed characters throughout the evening will be the Fresno Grizzlies mascot, Parker T. Bear, who will be dressed up as master splinter.

The Grizzlies are trying to recruit four kids to be mini ninja turtles on Saturday. For information contact the Fresno Grizzlies at (559) 320-HITS (4487).

Fans attending the game are encouraged to participate in the postgame Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live jersey auction located in the section above the first base dugout, with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California. The auction begins directly after the final out of the game.
