FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An all-star cheerleading program in Fresno now has a new home.
Cheerforce Central Valley has moved from Shaw and Brawley to Herndon Avenue. The facility held a grand re-opening on Saturday. The program focuses on tumbling and stunts and trains teams to compete nationwide.
But staff members say it also goes beyond physical performance. "We have a homework room and tutoring that we also focus on raising these kids in a positive environment to where their focus is still school and grades and being around people that are positive for their lives," said Kenny Anderson, Program Director.
Saturday's celebration included a free open gym, along with raffles, food, and a DJ.
