One man is dead after a fatal crash near Selma

FRESNO, Calif. -- CHP officers say the man was behind the wheel of a mini-van when he rear-ended a semi stopped at Golden State and Mountain View. The impact of the crash caused pinned the man in -- killing him.

The driver of the semi was not injured. Authorities say truck was stopped at a red light and had working lights, so it's not known why the driver didn't slow down before hitting the trailer.
