Surveillance tape captures northeast Fresno burglar in the act

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A break-in at a home in Fresno's northeast area has police searching for the suspect captured on surveillance.

That burglary happened at about 4:30 Wednesday morning. Surveillance video shows the man inside the garage of the home near Chestnut and Alluvial Avenues.

Investigators say he entered through an open garage door leading to the kitchen. The suspect stole several items from the house while the residents were asleep.

Anyone who recognizes the person in this video is asked to contact Fresno police.
