FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 16-year-old boy is now in custody for the murder of a man in Central Fresno.
The 59-year-old victim was found in a black Mercedes Friday afternoon near Fresno Street and Belmont Avenue. Police said he had crashed into two other cars but they soon realized he was also shot multiple times.
An officer spotted the suspect near the scene but he got away by jumping over a fence.
Investigators say the teen was caught hours later when he returned to the scene.
They also recovered a pistol they believe was used in the shooting.
