Habitat for Humanity gives away home to Fresno family
As with all Habitat homes, the family didn't have to pay, except by investing some sweat equity. They learned how to do some construction work and spent 500 hours working with the team building their house.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Habitat for Humanity gave away its first Fresno home of 2016 Saturday.

The Her family will be running in circles to keep up with their kids now that they have the keys to a 1,300 square foot home in southeast Fresno.

As with all Habitat homes paid by investing some sweat equity. They learned how to do some construction work and spent 500 hours working with the team building their house. The family will still pay a mortgage though it is typically less than a home of equal size.
