Fresno State beat Wyoming 71-60 Tuesday night and improved to 5-3 in Mountain West play.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State beat Wyoming 71-60 Tuesday night and improved to 5-3 in Mountain West play.

Marvelle Harris scored a team-high 25 points and he sits in 3rd place on the all-time scoring list. Josh Adams scored a game-high 32 points in the loss. Fresno State will travel to San Jose State and take on the Spartans on February 3rd.

Head Coach Rodney Terry on the key to winning the game against the Cowboys: "It was all defense. Every time we came to a huddle, we didn't talk anything about offense. Obviously other than the fact that we're going to run this play or that play we need to have execution. But it was all defense. Everything was predicated around our defense. We got a chance to get back in the game and to get ahead with our defense and given an opportunity to continue to do that. It gave us a chance to play the way we wanted to play offensively. So, it was all about defense." Said Terry.
