2 wounded in Central Fresno gang shooting, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A gunman is on the loose after shooting two people overnight in Central Fresno.

Police found several shell casings around 1 a.m. Wednesday near Belmont and Fulton. Minutes later, two gunshot victims showed up to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). They are both expected to survive.

The car they were in was also at CMRC riddled with bullet holes. The victims told police someone started shooting at them as they drove by. Police are now trying to get a description of the gunman.

Police say the shooting was gang related.
