Fresno Police officer, girlfriend plead not guilty in prostitution case
A former Fresno Police officer and his girlfriend both pleaded not guilty Thursday in a prostitution case.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A former Fresno Police officer and his girlfriend both pleaded not guilty Thursday in a prostitution case.

Robert Knight and Alicia Stapleton were arrested last July for soliciting sex with an undercover officer. Stapleton has been charged with prostitution. Knight is accused of arranging the meeting.

If convicted they could face up to one year in jail.
