Oscars ends with a bang for Fresno show goers
It's hard to believe just a few hours ago the hottest celebrities in Hollywood were rocking the red carpet but now it's more of a construction zone. A look inside the Dolby Theater though, and the glamour of Oscar night hasn't faded.

LOS ANGELES. (KFSN) -- The Oscars might be over, but, in Hollywood, the celebration lasted all night and well into the morning.

It's hard to believe just a few hours ago the hottest celebrities in Hollywood were rocking the red carpet but now it's more of a construction zone. A look inside the Dolby Theater, though, and the glamour of Oscar night hasn't faded.

While taking their show on the road from New York to Los Angeles, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan gave us the inside scoop about the Academy Awards show, like chasing down first-time Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio. "We love his work, we've never had him on our show," Kelly and Michael said. "We were really determined to get him. I mean, win or lose, we were getting Leo."

If Kelly and Michael get giddy for celebs, imagine how these Fresnans felt, the lucky contest winners sat in the first few rows at the after-Oscars show. "The idea of being in a seat with all the ambiance," winner Jose Luis Robles said.

And I'll admit, even I got a little star struck. "Veronica Miracle? That's a great name," Ripa said.

But the real magic happens behind the curtain. Like the green room, where the presenters lounge before taking the stage. No matter where you're standing inside the Dolby Theater, the view is unforgettable.

And so are the stars. "Hey Fresno, we love you Fresno," contestants cheered. "Thank you, Kelly and Michael!"
