Girl power takes over Downtown Fresno with the Girls World Expo
Attendees can expect seminars and demos ranging from self defense, to fashion shows, and everything in between.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than 1,500 girls are taking over the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Fresno this weekend, to learn how to take over the world.

The Girls World Expo is in town, giving girls a lesson in female empowerment. It's an expo that travels throughout the U.S., and this Sunday, it's right here in Fresno.

Attendees can expect seminars and demos ranging from self defense, to fashion shows, and everything in between. More than 1,500 girls are already signed up for the event at the Doubletree Hotel.

Girls World Expo

Sunday, March 6th. 12 pm - 4 pm.

Seminars include self defense, dance, fashion, bullying, and "fearless female" speakers including Fresno County Sheriff Mims.
