2 shot in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for the suspects in a double shooting in Northwest Fresno. It happened just before 9:00 p.m. Tuesday near Shaw and Marks.

Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Officer's say witnesses saw a vehicle driving away at a high rate of speed from the scene. "As far as suspect information, it is limited. We were told after the shooting a white T-Bird type vehicle left the area at a high rate of speed," said Ron Hughes, Lt. Fresno Police Department.

Police have blocked off Fremont near Marks while they conduct their investigation.

Police have not yet determined if the shooting was gang-related.
