Fresno State defeats San Diego State; wins Mountain West Men's Basketball Tournament

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno State Men's Basketball Team defeated San Diego State with a final score of 68 to 63 to win the Mountain West final.

Mountain West Player of the Year Marvelle Harris led the Bulldogs with 18 points. Julien Lewis came up big for Fresno State late in the hotly-contested match, scoring four straight free-throws to seal the game.

With the win, the Bulldogs win its first Mountain West title and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 15 years.
